Money Money Money

Today reading: Luke 16:1-18

This passage talks about MONEY! 
In the whole Bible, there are over 2000 verses talks about money and possessions. There are 38 parables in the new testament, 16 of them talks about money. The money or earthly possession, has the power to take God's place in out lives. We all know that, it is clear that we cannot serve both God and Money. The Bible wants us to be wise to use the financial opportunities, not to earn heaven, but to help others to experience God. 
As Christians, the way we use money, show a good test of the lordship of Christ. 

Several stewardship principles we have to remember:
1. God owns everything
2. God's people are responsible for managing God's resources 
3. As owner, God has rights. As steward, we have the responsibilities
4. Faithful in stewardship is a worshipful response to God's ownership of all things. 

Prayer: Dear Father Lord, thank you for this wonderful day. Grant me wisdom, especially dealing with money. Let me be obedient to You and be faithful in managing to the resources that You have entrusted to me. Help me to be a faithful and responsible steward of Yours. In Jesus' name i prayed, Amen!
