The Word
“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”
Hebrews 4:12 NIV
Yes, the Word is alive, very much alive. It is the Word of God that penetrates into my heart, felt guilty of sins and repent. Each believers of Christ has to experience the power of the Word, not once but always. The power may result in the self brokenness, but only from the brokenness, you will see yourself being changed.
That’s why the church encourages its members to read the Word daily, in order to experience the power of the Word, always. However, many don’t read. Some read, but just as daily routine for the sack of fulfilling “requirements” for daily devotions. How many that read really believe that God, via Holy Spirit and with the Word, may change one’s life forever?

Lord, I thank you for the Bible. It is the most powerful book in the world. Help me to treasure It, and let Your Holy Spirit teaches me to understand Your Word better. Let my life be changed.in Jesus name, Amen.
