Hello Pharisees

John 9:13-34
I love this passage because it serves as a reminder for me.

The blind man was healed and he could see for the first time in his life. But the Pharisees refused to accept that fact. They were looking for chances to get rid of Jesus.

Look at their reactions:
Verse 16 - This man is not from God for he does not keep the Sabbath
Verse 17 - How can a sinner do such miraculous signs?

The mentality of the Pharisees, which are the religious people those time, was blinded. In their mind, they think they are the holiest, and they keep the Sabbath in their own ways!

Many times, we are judging people like those Pharisees. We are more concerned about OUR laws, regulations, religious practices, than to LOVE people. Jesus rebuked the same group of people in Luke 13:10-17. Jesus loves the people, heal them, release them from bondage, deliver them from evil etc. Are we doing the same as Jesus? Or are we just observing or following the so-called religious practices? Or do we think that we are "holier" than other peoples?
